Ircon Infrastructure & Services Limited has established an Environment Management Planning Laboratory with the mission of offering holistic environmental services.

To help a Client to enhance its environmental reputation, manage risk and increase business efficiency our team of experts offers guidance in everything from complying with environmental regulations to assessing environmental performance.

This lab has also begun to expand with diversified analytical tests forming the core of professionalism which led to Environmental Services. We provide independent services that touch the lives of millions of people across the globe. We provide you with industry leading inspection, verification and testing services anywhere in the world. This also includes providing project management, quality management, safety, health and environment related consultancy services to clients.

APPROVALS

Approved from Jammu & Kashmir State Pollution Control Board, Jammu under section 17(2) of the Water (Prevention & Control of pollution) Act, 1974 and Section 17(2) of the Air (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 for the year 2016-17.

The Lab is accredited by NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005.

Environment Management Plan

The Environment Management Plan purpose is to reduce or minimize undesirable or negative impacts. There is a need to harmonize developmental activities with the environmental concerns, so that relevant environmental issues could be addressed in consonance with the development. It is desirable to ensure that the development options under considerations shall be sustainable.

The Environmental Management Plan (EMP) has been designed within the frame work of various regulatory requirements on environmental and Socio-economic aspects aiming at the following:

• Minimize disturbance to native flora and fauna, if any
• Prevent and to attenuate air, water, soil and noise pollution, if any
• Encourage the socio-economic development
• Sustainable development in the region
• Prevention of the deterioration of the environment
• Protection of environment against prioritized hazardous substances
